For your sampling, here are some sites crafted by Silicon Beehive.
Some of the designs were defined by third party design agencies
and therefore do not reflect the design inclinations of Silicon Beehive.
But all of the sites reflect our expertise to make the designs work in code.
Monteverdi Spirits produces Nocino della Cristina, a walnut liqueur based on an Italian-Swiss recipe passed down through the Monteverdi family.
This site is part of Monteverdi Spirit's marketing of Nocino.
Rancho Polhemus is a Western ranch in Northern California offering lessons to the jaded Silicon Valley urbanite.
Their market includes people interested in the natural experience of horses. Their website reflects that sensitivity.
With the exception of the splash page, with employs rollovers, the site is 100% xhtml 1.1 valid.
When we were hired, the SSA's intranet was a small, gimmicky, and vastly underused site
(
see the original). We were asked to improve its usability
in any way we could. Our efforts involved a radical cleanup and development of the code, followed by a
redesign of the look and feel. Please note that in order to protect the SSA's sensitive content, most
of the text and links have been edited. Also, the SSA's intranet is developed for IE only, as the SSA
restricts browser use.
Octavier produces music for "lifestyle" websites, such as wineries and hotels. To match their
intended market, we produced a sleek, minimalist site to introduce Octavier's prospective clients
to its body of work.
home.bellsouth.net for BellSouth Corporation, Portal Division
We led the front end programming team for this 1000+ page site, responsible for implementation,
development, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting, from its inception to its transfer to the BellSouth
Corporation (in January of 2002). BellSouth defined the layout and controlled the content; we were
responsible for achieving the exact look and feel.
MyWay.com's original product was a customizable online business directory. Before the company was
forced to throw in the proverbial towel and halt all projects, we were working on the front end of this
product to improve its usability and its look. You can see the original
here.
For the above product's development, this is a representative search results page
(
see the original here).
This is a demo used by the MyWay Sales Team to attract various media companies who might be interested
in a more flashy but still stylish product then what MyWay.com originally offered. Based on the
team's requirements, this is the front page that we developed. The site includes two small flash
animations.
Excel is a provider of telecom services, and this site is aimed at their clients and users.
This is another company that provided their exact design requirements for us to implement.
